The Galleri® Multi-cancer early detection test screens for deadly cancers by drawing and analyzing your blood.

How does it work?

The Galleri® Blood Test works by identifying DNA in the bloodstream and scanning for a fingerprint of many of the deadliest cancers even before they become symptoms.

It detects signals from over 50 types of cancers by analyzing specific DNA methylation patterns, and is meant to supplement routine cancer screenings.

If a signal is detected, the results will tell patients from which tissue/organ the signal is associated with (called their Cancer Signal Origin).

Results come back about 2 weeks after the blood sample is received in the lab.

Research

In a recent study analyzing 11,080 individuals, this test correctly predicted the cancer signal origin in 87% of cases¹.

Real world data shows that it can also accelerate diagnosis; the median time from test result to confirmed diagnosis was just 39.5 days¹.
